At times many of us are greatly disturbed and do not know what to do because our computers do not seem to work the way we want it to. Spyware is a type of application program that gets installed in our computer system without our knowledge. It operates secretly then. Malware:
Similar to spyware, malware is also installed in the computer system without the knowledge of the user. Malware embeds itself in an ordinary application like games. The innocent user then installs the game into the computer. While the user thinks that it is just a game, in reality, a malware has been installed. Let us know more about a malware.

The term malware comes from two words. They are malicious, and software. This explains how the behavior of malware will be. It means that malware is going to cause damage to the computer system. Way To Prevent Spyware And Malware:
There are many ways to prevent spyware and malware from causing damages in our computer system. Install some kind of firewall for protection. Windows has firewall protection, but it has a limited features. Programs like McAfee and Norton have more and rich features.  Such security software comes with resident shield and antivirus software. Resident shield avoids malware or spyware from being installed in the computer.

When suspicious software is installed, the shield will warn you. In case a piece of malware still managed to get installed in the computer, then antivirus software scans and cleans the computer.

Ultimately, it all depends on the end user. If you choose to ignore the warnings given by security software, you will find your computer with a spyware or malware infested. So there is a need for you to keep your computer updated with the latest computer security programs. Only then you be a smart computer user contributing something to the world development.
